Turning subscribers in to profiles, Fliptop is one of the more innovative technologies in social marketing and tools for marketers at large. With a subscriber list, Twitter profile, or Facebook account, Fliptop profiles fans and followers, providing demographic and social profile data as well as incredibly powerful engagement and influence scores for each subscriber.
I engaged with Fliptop at a very early stage as product, pricing, and positioning were still in development. Involved in each of those evolution in the company, my focus lied in lead gen, user adoption, and sales development. Exploring the user experience and conversion funnels to optimize the performance of landing pages and point of engagement, our efforts focused largely on email marketing and lead gen, search engine optimization and content development, viral marketing through the use of infographics and social marketing, and eventually paid marketing channels.
