On our first day in Austin my true love gave to me, a grackle in the Treaty tree.
It’s the hap-happiest season of all, with those holiday greetings and gay happy meetings, when friends come to call. There are parties for hosting, marshmallows for toasting, and caroling out in the snow, well… cold.
There is some mistltoeing, Austin hearts are all glowing, and when loved ones are near, in the city keeping it weird, we come up with fun such as the 12 Days in Austin. Why on earth would you want to read another 10 best in Austin list when we can sing about a grackle in the Treaty tree?

What are the eight music venues? Let’s not get into that debate but here’s what I had in mind: Antone’s, The Continental Club, Broken Spoke, The Backyard, Elephant Room, Stubb’s BBQ, The Mohawk, and ACL / Moody Theater.
Ten districts dancing might elude you. Get to the know the part of the City of Austin in which you live; one of the 10 city council districts.
From my weird Austin family to you and yours, Merry Christmas.
Indeed! ROFLOL! (Only Austinites will get this.) 😀 😀 😀
No Round Rock doughnuts? I hear they’re the best…
Going to steal this and credit you on this.
