So I’ve been MIA for more than I like and want to apologize for that; I’ve been burdened with new endeavors, some consulting projects, and a bout with malware and spyware to make a superhero jealous.
Through it all, I had a faithful friend stand by me; a friend worth sharing. I don’t usually make this blog a personal podium to go off topic but if you have computer or electronics problems, Fixya is your new best friend.
FixYa reduces support costs for manufacturers while placing power in the hands of the average consumer. Gone are the days of the impersonal phone support specialist or the cryptic repair manual. FixYa is a place where individuals can share real world experience and connect to provide each other practical advice. From fixing cars, to cameras, to iPhones, FixYans are part of a DIY revolution that helps empower techies, tinkerers and hobbyists across the globe.
For a minimal cost (around $10); you get unlimited support from an extensive network of experts who constantly reevaluate your challenge and provide solutions. You have to be technically savvy enough to know how to turn your computer on as you’ll be doing the work but they provide the direction, resources and tools to try, and much more. Bottom line, they don’t stop trying until you are satisfied that the problem is resolved and since you are paying them, the quality of support is FAR greater than what you might get from message boards or free Answers products. Simply, it is reliable and effective and compared to the $50+ an hour it takes to get Geek Guys to come to your door, you can’t beat it.
I’ve nearly lost two computers in the past few weeks so, my eternal gratitude to the guys who founded Fixya.
