Lee Odden reminded me of a goal I’ve had to replicate his promotion of industry events, sharing with you though, my perspective.
June brings us a great variety of topics with one of the best e-Commerce shows, some divination of our future, and both remedial and advanced search marketing conferences (at one of which I’ll be speaking).
SMX Advanced is the first from Danny Sullivan since his departure from Search Engine Watch. This one is for the experts and I hope to get to Seattle June 4 & 5.
Internet Retailer has long been a favorite, near and dear to my online commerce heart. Not sure if I’ll make it this time but if you are in retail, book a flight to San Jose June 4-7.
I’d like to say “I’ve seen the Future of Online Advertising and it is good” unfortunately (which isn’t saying it isn’t good), I haven’t been before. I’m intrigued as the only way to keep pace in this business is to see 5-10 years down the road. If you have an interest in emerging media or the changes in the industry, I hope to find you in New York June 7-8.
The must attend conference of the year!
AMA Hot Topic Series Presents: Search Engine Marketing in Chicago June 22. Okay… okay… I admit a modicum of self promotion as I’ll be there sharing perspective on my favorite topic: Tracking search behavior for insight to your customers.
Searchnomics 2007 in Santa Clara on June 27 is also on my list as the only event that focuses on the business and economics of search. Bill Tancer of Hitwise is a Keynote.
And last, only because it is at the end of the month, High Rankings Seminar and Workshop June 28-29 in Denver. The chance to learn from Jill Whalen should not be missed.
Have I overlooked anything? Add it to the calendar and I’ll promote it.
